I finally got another job. It may be only temporary, but it's a foot in the door for other positions at the same Wal-Mart.

However, I also got a massive reminder that Murphy's Law exists.

That reminder came in the shape of a bill from the government to the tune of $735.94. For being booted from basic training for something I was born with and they neglected to tell me that I should have been removed from the program earlier on because of it.

That is all. Can't write though- my laptop (with all the half-written chapters) is still in South Carolina with my mother.... and I can't go get it until March or so. Ugh.

It's not just my choice, but the fact that I'll be in Texas for basic military training seals it. I have most of the next chapter written, but there's a lot of polishing to do, plus when I come back (not if, WHEN, I'm not leaving the fandom!) I might have some interesting ideas to post. Not only that, but I'll probably have a good method for twisting the story to flow a little better.

Hey everybody! I just wanted to let you all know that I'm still writing, the next chapter is in the works, so don't worry.

Now that that's out of the way, I'm dropping a bombshell.

I ship out for basic training for the Air Force on November 18th, 2014. I should have at least one more chapter done before then if I can find time between sleeping, working, and running errands.

Hey. I'm still here and still writing (for those who care.) However, I'm going to be busy more often, as I've finally gotten a job to pay for my internet/cable.

I have more chapters finished but polishing them up is going to take some time. In the meantime, I suggest you go play some TF2 or something.

No, seriously, I'm not dead, just in a loveless land (and I feed on love! Normal food isn't exactly filling for my kind) with no internet.

No idea when I'll get a solid internet connection (I'm at a relative's house, borrowing their connection) and I'm having difficulty getting a job. What with the economy as it is, I doubt it'll be anytime within the next month.

I've been in Arizona for a few days now, it's a bit hotter and drier than I'd like, and the mornings are annoyingly cold, but I can tolerate it.

In the meantime, I've resumed the next chapter of "Adventures of a Man Turned Beastly" so you have that to look forward to in the next couple of weeks or so. I've been getting inspiration via dreams and chats with several of my friends on Steam, just in case my muse goes out for a drink with her pals.
