Shaun Messer has always questioned life, and the meaning of its many varying aspects, but has always found himself back at the same spot, knowing nothing.

One cold, dreary night he encounters a cartoon mare by the name of AJ. After surviving the initial shock he attempts to reason the entire situation away, but is constantly interrupted by a horrid gut feeling about his new companion.

He believes that AJ is the same happy and honest character that is portrayed on MLP:FIM.

However, he is soon to see that first impressions and assumptions lead in the same circles as reason when AJ shows her true colors.

After the end of reality and a war on earth, Ryan Carling has been flung from world to world at the whim of a power he doesn't understand. Now, he's woken up on a small snowy island.

But he's not the only one there.
