I hate to be that whiny guy who posts status updates apologizing for not updating his stories, but, well... I'm sorry for not updating my stories. It's been summer vacation from college, and I've been busy being lazy.

Anywaaays... I'm going to try and actually post a new story or two at some point soon, but I just wanted to let you know i'm not quite dead.

(Warning: personal rant coming up, filled with opinions and all those things people hate. This is probably going to get ugly.)

Is it just me, or is the likes-dislikes bar not very indicative of the actual quality of the story? It almost seems like if a story has too many likes, it's just not that good.

So... Season 5 is here! Woohoo!

To sum the premiere up in a word, though... well... to put it kindly... underwhelming.

I mean, it started off really creepy - for the first third i was legitimately unnerved by all the ponies smiling like creeps. But then the whole exposition thing came in, and... I don't know. Maybe it's because i'm a bitter old man now (19 year old man) but the second and third acts just seemed... kind of weak.

There have been complains as to how MPBAAP ended too suddenly, and I agree with that. I have a perfectly good reason, however, as to why it ended so abruptly:

I got bored.

I’m very grateful to everyone who liked and favorited and commented on this story, but the thing is, I just don’t feel like writing it anymore. It’s just not entertaining for me.

On the other hand, I despise all those stories who just cancel themselves halfway through. As such, I tried to wrap up things at the end.

Winter (or what little was of it) is drawing to an end, and with it my winter break draws to an end. I apologize for not being active during the break, I was busy with... important things. Which were not video games of any kind.

In any case, I should be more inclined to keep working on my stories now, with another chapter of MPBaAP in the works. here's hoping I can actually finish it soon!

Looks like my newest story is a complete success! Hooray! Thanks to all the readers and such! over 400 faves and over 300 likes; heck there's over fifty comments already! Huzzah! Now maybe I can forget about the gaping hole that is my life!

Anyways, i also came here with a question for the internets. I actually have another chapter loaded up and in the chamber. Should I use it, or wait a few days for the buzz to die down?

Hey, just a quick question for the internet-land if anyone happens to be listening: when exactly is the best time to post a story? I mean, what is the time of day when, in general, the least amount of stories are being posted? That way the story won't just get pushed out of the "new stories" box right away. If someone could tell me the answer, that would be great. Thanks.

Every time I go to the featured box nowadays, the stories there are nearly always painfully unique. With the exception of my little one-hit wonder, I just can't seem to think of anything unique enough to warrant the feature box. I wish I could. I'm so bloody jealous of those writers.

Meanwhile, Applejack was bucking apples in her field, when she noticed something. "I just realized that I was never mentioned in this story despite being in that scene." She stated. Then she shrugged, and went back to her life as a background pony.
