Hey ponies!

No, I haven't forgotten about you. I'm stupidly busy trying to move out of my apartment, as well as finishing up some projects at my co-op before the semester kicks off again. I'm thinking that until classes start back, I won't have an update out. Oddly enough, I have more free time when I'm learning instead of working. That's how the world works, I guess!

So my new story just got submitted. It's called A Princess in the Night, so look for that when it's approved!

Now, to write the next chapter of something y'all have all been waiting for!

Yup...the lightning that is inspiration struck me the other day. I'm writing a quick one-shot story to ease the tension that is my imagination. I just wanted to post a quick blurb about it for those of you who follow my stuff. It's already about 5,000 words in, and should top out between 10 and 15,000 words. Hey all!

Just wanted to touch base and say that the new chapter is halfway to completion. I know I had previously stated it would be out within two weeks, but, life kind of got in the way. Working fifty hours a week doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room! So, in the meantime, have something funny.

So, 1 1/2 hours back into it and I'm featured?! I don't even know what to say. Like dang, I guess everybody really missed it!! I can say with certainty that the next chapter should be up within two weeks. I have to start writing it, and figure it out, as the story is at an odd transition stage.

Thank you all so much for sticking with me through the 9 months I was gone! Anybody catch that in the new chapter? Lol.

Just letting you all know to look for the update within the next week. Writing is going a bit slow (I've been out of the loop for so long, I've forgotten exactly how I used to do things), but I'm planning on having Old Traditions updated by at least next Monday. Once I've finished the chapter, I'm going to have my editor....well, edit it!

I have no idea when I'm going to get around to it. It will be awhile, though. It may happen next week, it may happen in a few months. I've got other things going on in my life that's pulled my interests and time.

I should have realized this would happen when I started the story...I'm better at one-shots. Then I don't have people waiting for more.

See, I'm a wonderful starter. I can get people motivated, and I can motivate myself. It's just finishing the project...it's always difficult.

....I watch the story climb over in the "Popular Stories" bar. And Sparkling Cider always comes back up, too. I think the highest Old Traditions has been is 17, if I remember correctly.

Just thought I'd post some observations.

You guys are brilliant, I never thought my story would get this popular.
