Honestly, it was a great scene (totally didn't make me cry, what are you talking about), but it made my whole Rainbow Dash back story interfere with canon!

You do not know how great it is to have a brony friend that's read your fan-fiction.
Okay, maybe you do, but that's not the point.
The point is, it's a great. Being able to go to school (or work, whatever) and talk about your story is great. I'm able to discuss ideas, improve existing things, and furthermore increase my productivity.
All in all, it's a sweet deal.

Writing a fan-fiction has to be one of the most stressful-and tedious-experiences I have ever had. I remember when I first wrote my first story, The Trotting Dead. I sat at my computer screen, refreshing the screen for hours on end (waiting for publishing). Eventually it was posted, but not until the night of the next day. It was late at night, too. I first saw that it was uploaded via my phone, and I raped the refresh button. 1 view, 5 views, 10 views! I looked at the likes.
