So the dates here are a bit messed up, because initially I didn't want to post the story onto Fimfiction.net. I realized that not posting it was a bit of a pipe dream at one point, so I made sure to get the story up here as well.

The official release date for chapter 1 is August 21st, which is also my birthday. (This was intentional, because it helps me to keep track of the release date! Important dates all happening together and all. Easier to remember.)

Hello readers! I just wanted to pop in and give an update on why chapter 13 has taken so long.

Basically, the chapter is 99% done, but I had to put it on hold due to surgery. Nothing serious, nothing bad. I'm just laid up for the week.

I hope to be home and recovered by the 16/17th, and will have the chapter out ASAP after that.

I'm so so sorry it's taking so long. Thank you all for being so patient.

I'm really sorry I haven't been keeping this thing updated! Some real life troubles hit pretty hard and I've been trying to get by. The good news about real life troubles is that I've had a TON of time to write! WOO! Chapter 13 is coming along nicely, the rough draft is nearly finished and should be ready for good ol' edit passes here shortly. I'm trying to get it out as soon as possible, but there's some stressful stuff going on.

Alright readers! As promised two weeks ago, Chapter 11 should be out this weekend! I'm so terrible sorry that it's taken so long to get it done, but the chapter has been... Extremely trying.

Lots of problems went into this chapter, but we're coming out on top. I've got a final edit session set up for tomorrow (Saturday) morning, and I should be able to release overnight on Saturday. Fingers, talons, or hooves crossed.
