So I accomplished basically nothing for January and February is looking to be similar. School has slammed me hard with a boat load of reading, not to mention writing and news chasing. Hopefully the pace will settle down somewhat, or I will at least be able to get ahead of all the work soon and gain some breathing space so I can do more than poke at my personal writing.

Hopefully there will be something sometime this month.

So I'm a bit late, we'll just go with, "the alcohol haze has finally worn off" to cover up the fact that I did nothing interesting for New Years except watch a streamsync of pmvs...

Anyway my resolution is to have chapter 3 done before the end of January* so that should be nice. Still have ten days or so before Spring semester starts and I'm going kind of stir crazy and poor. So, plenty of time for writing.

*note: my resolutions usually fail.

So... no chapter for this month. It's been a hell of a month, especially with finals coming up soon - so yeah, almost no writing done on anything not school related. I'll try to take a bite out of chapter 3 over this weekend, but I don't guarantee being anywhere near done soon. On the plus side, winter break is coming up.

Wow, chapter two of Oasis took way longer (and ran a LOT longer) than I anticipated, but it's done now and shared with my beta to have a lookover before I release it into the wild. Between school and such I didn't get to apply as much time as I would have liked to it - but a marathon push over the weekend finally got it done. Should be ready soon - stay tuned.

I put FoE: Oasis up on google docs for anyone that may care about that, and I'm fiddling with making and index page too. I'll probably do that at the same time as posting here for subsequent chapters.

I come into pony fanfic by way of Fallout Equestria which combines two things I greatly enjoy enough to actually get me into writing fanfic, and recursive fanfic at that.

Up until recently I've only written original work - this whole fanfic thing is new to me. I actually make a point to avoid it for the most part outside of FoE.
