The river of toil has undone the frozen seal under which it has kept the waters warm via a current of ceaseless occupation.
In other words, I have once again been summoned to college. Yet a creative writing class has become available, so that should be something worthwhile. Perhaps I will submit something pony related this time around. I have always felt the desire to have a pony story return with a grade upon it. Perhaps now is the time.

A very merry Christmas to all. Christmastime has always been a time for remembering what drives us and what we find is truly important. I find that one thing that is truly important to me is writing. Writing has defined who I am as a person, and given me a path to follow for the rest of my days. I recently attended the Running of the Leaves convention in Colorado. It was a first time con, brand new. Awesome times there. Met some great people and had some fun. I bought a box with Solrac's signature on it for seven dollars during an auction and was able to see the rarest pony card ever sold for $120. Hey, if you lot are ever in Colorado send me a message. It would be a pleasure to meet any of you.

I don't know how many stories I've started and never quite finished. Some ideas work out, and others find themselves forever incomplete in my "Documents" folder. As I rewrite my plans for Introspection for the fifteenth time (yes, I keep count), and finally settled on something that will work well, I have taken a look at unfinished stories and have been deciding what to do with them.

If you have never been to an MLP convention of any magnitude I highly recommend you try and make it someday. Everfree Northwest was simply amazing. Three great days of just meeting random awesome people to keep in touch with. Staying up till two in the morning with Piquo Pie (who is making the Fan Fiction Documentary), Xepher, and Petano Prime just discussing random stuff. I was discussing the overall manner of the community with a colleague not long ago, and he stated that it appeared a great amount of the community has turned it into a business, and as such as cast a rather unpleasant tone upon the fandom.
