Six pages of brainstorming

If you've been taking notes like the good little cultists you are, you'll recall that I'm planning a new story. Here's some more information.
- The main character will be Lyra. Fascinating, I know.
- Current estimated length is twelve chapters of 1-5K words.
- I will be breaking away from my normal style; this will not be a sadfic (don't expect me to go easy on conflict), and will focus on communication.

Today sucked. I wrote something depressing, which took some of the load off.

To anyone interested, I'm planning another story, sort of. I have most of the plot all partitioned and in a few days I'll be ready to write a first draft, maybe.

I wish I could capture in a short blog post the feeling I get when I see every new notification with a favorite or a comment or a watch.

I wish I could explain why I abandon everything else I'm doing whenever I hear a notification go off, which is why writing this blog post took multiple attempts.

I wish I could tell you how it feels to know that someone else enjoyed the story I wrote.

But I can't. I guess I've just never been good with words.
