Well working on it for 11 years and counting can get pretty high in the word count. I know other stories are already at like 2 million in less time than that, but I like to take the time for each episode. Years ago I put the minimum count for each episode at 21K. Sure, it takes a lot longer for episodes to come out, but this way I take my time, I don't rush it, and it meets a certain standard. I just sometimes get frustrated thinking I won't meet those standards and it wears me out, making me go even slower. For example, Episode 23-2; caps out at 206,000 words. That took me a year and a half to complete. And Episode 23-3 Prologue, it took two and a half years to complete (Partly due to losing a loved one in the process and restructuring the Outline/Plans blog)....
