I'm seeing naught but clopfics and humans-in-equestria crossovers as far as the eye can see. I can see that the new season wasn't particularly stimulating.

WHY DOES IT EXIST.
Gryphons have the pointed, hooked beak associated with a bird of prey.
They also have mammalian teeth.
Conclusion: gryphons have two jaws which can move independently. The beak functions as a highly specialized incisor, and food enters the mouth in the same manner as Earth's birds of prey, but once it's there, it can be masticated by sets of molars specialized for seeds. This makes gryphons look unsettling when they are eating, as the motions of each jaw may not be synchronous.
Graf (male) or Gräfin (female) is a historical title of German nobility, usually translated as Count.
Punnage imminent.
Oh, how I wish that there were enough hours in the day to study as much as I need to, practice as many notes as it takes, and still have time left over to write ponyfic.
...And not go insane. That's a big caveat. Maybe I should become a time lord?
tl;dr: I'm complaining because I live a life privileged enough for a diverse set of venues for success.
(set to the tune of "Anthropology")
World building fascinates me. Little ponies travel far!
Tell me my dear brony, do you write fanfic or look at art?
I like reading stories about empires beyond the stars~
It's so real to me, pony history!
Bergs, townships, and sprawling cities; war without and peace within
I don't think it's too strange, the wide world they are living in.
My friends say that it's simple, trite inanity.
Why can't I make them see, pony history?
...
Anyone else notice how "The Ancients," by whatever name the author decides to give them, are always humans? It's never about ancient races of miohippus living in caves, nor even a continent-spanning autocratic empire (assuming show canon isn't already the Rome analogue). Humans.
Humans are boring. If I wanted to read and write about humans I'd go to one of -our- libraries.
Twilight Sparkle: Most powerful magic user ever, above even the princesses. One bad day away from taking a level in badass. Serious approval issues regarding Celestia. Destined to take up the mantle of the stars when the time of the Royal Pony Sisters is over.
Fluttershy: Convincing orator and maiden of the forests. First aid and nursing skills. Anger issues. "Stare" is strong enough to hold the gods in sway.
Why in the hay does everything important that falls from the sky land in Applejack's fields? If it's not a pegasus, it's a magical Big Macguffin. Sometimes it's the only reason the poor girl's in a scene...
