I am totally up for pre-reading. Not editing, I am not really the person for nit-picking your grammar to death (I mean, I may have some notes about grammar, but I don't enjoy doing the red pencil thing on every misplaced comma.) But pre-reading, where I read the story, tell you what I thought of it, and pass along a suggestion or two for improvement if I think it needs some.

In other news, man oil paint takes a long time to dry! The last layer is drying now though, thank goodness.

Title says it all. :P Five whole days before I could add the second layer, and I need at least one layer more. Eesh.

Since I'm trying to do more writing, I'm also doing more reading. Nothing sparks the fires of creativity like soaking in other people's ideas. Unfortunately this means I also, as I add my favorites and comments to other people's amazing works, can't help but notice how very *many* favorites and comments a lot of them have. Did you know that oil paints take something like a week to dry? At least a few days, in any case. I really shouldn't be allowed to read other writer's blogs. When somebody is all upset that nobody is getting their deep symbolism, and pitches a fit and pulls down a "failed" first chapter that already had more reads, favs, upvotes, etc. than anything I've ever done... *sigh* All I can really think is "I hate you so much." I think my NMM side is showing a bit right now.
