I feel as though Crashing Angels is coming along well. It's into new territories and even when I set off to try and write other stories (such as finishing off my TwiLuna dance fic) I end up writing CA.
What feedback I am receiving makes me more certain that the direction is good, so on I shall continue with the story.

The next chapter should be ready within the next few days. I'm thinking thursday (NZ time) just before I drive my EV down to my brother's house in Hamilton.

I found chapter 10 to be a special chapter. At last, I have delved into something I have wanted to for some time.

And while I go off to work next up on a TwiLuna / GalStream (and more..) fic about a school dance that gets both cute and silly I do intend to return to Crashing Angels right after.

First chapter update of the year goes to Crashing Angels. The writing of it flowed well thanks to getting in two very good writing days so far.
Lots of good, sweet cuteness in chapter 9 and not all of it is between our main two fillies.

I think it's crazy that I started this back when I was Flutterdash7. This is nearly 8 years of carrying this story with me so far...
Hopefully it will take nothing remotly close to that duration of time to get it finished now.

It feels weird that its already about halfway through January. Work is kinda busy with plenty of editing that needs doing. I'm also working on stepping up my music practice in an attempt at playing most of the dance tunes on my accordion for the first Scottish country dance evening of the year (in August) here in Auckland. Even though its well over a month way, going from playing about 5-6 pieces (depending on what is chosen for the night) to trying to play most of the 24 is a massive jump.

I've just finished the next chapter and made another quick pass over my notes and partly written next scenes. In doing so I've realized something. We're maybe 5 or 6 chapters of build up and cuteness away from the war breaking out and things going totally bonkers. Posting from here in Mozambique, Africa, I have a newly updated and rewritten chapter 5 is up for Crashing Angels. If there's still interest in the story, it would be cool to know what folks think of it so far

Releases are going to be few for the next 3 weeks while I fly to New York then off to Africa to film a documentary and some promotional content for a non-profit organization, Foundation 4 Orphans. While I will have my newer MacBook pro with me, I'm not sure how much writing time I'll get and apparently the net isn't that great in Mozambique where we are going. I'll be on here when net permits as I'm still hopeful for new content in groups like Gallus x Silverstream, TwiLuna and Flutterdash.
