Thank you very much for the kind words. Andthank you for your service. My dad was marine in Vietnam, and I have a few cousin in the Corps. My brother-in-law is actually an, and I apologize if I have the terminology wrong, but I believe he said LAV commander.

954451 To list what I like about this story so far is how its progressing with the locals. Princess Celestia reacted kinda how i imagine she would, being calm and collected about the situation and immediately taking control. I'm actually a marine myself and i always love to read fan fictions featuring marines in them because it gives me a little insight on how some people view us. I will say that the story seems to be progressing rapidly, i would suggest slowing down a bit and adding more character depth. but overall the story seems good and i'm liking the language barrier, its nice to have a little twist to the tale.
