I'm not dead, however I started project through the Norwegian Unemployment agency where I'm in a full eight hours a day job, though I don't get paid except minimal social security. The end results is hopefully that I do get a full paid job once the project is over in October. However the job is physically demanding and I'm still really adjusting to working physically laborious job which haven't been in over three years, so writings just ground to a halt, I'm usually using the weekends to fuel

I rarely comment on episodes, usually it's mostly because I just don't have that much to say about it or whatever I felt about it just wasn't worth talking about. However I decided to touch on this episode because of Gilda's return and how it obliterated my headcanon from orbital death star.

Well the recent episode certainly blew many, many headcanons I vaguer, mine included. Then again I don't mind, though I wasn't expecting Gilda to return and things between her and Rainbow dash being patched up. I personally liked the episode and it actually confirmed a few theories I personally had which did surprise me actually.

The first new cover image is up for one of my stories. I commissioned Joey Waggoner for it and I do believe it looks just great for that little slice of life story. If you have the money, I do recommend buying art from this guy.

As I'm writing chapter 9, I just realized the funny coincidence of pancakes being featured so prominently in at least two episodes of the fifth season. Why funny coincidence? Well I've always had Private's trademark favorite food being pancakes, in fact one of the few rare occasions you can see him do more than just sit in grumpy silence is if pancakes are around. I usually wouldn't post an entire blog about a minor update, however doing it this time because it is regarding a character that appears in chapter 8, Barbell. I originally described her as cyan with aquamarine/white mane. This was after brainstorming with a friend of mine that I came to that color combination.

I have been considering having new covers made for my stories, instead using those crappy screenshots from the show (could be worse though, had an image with pony creator ponies when I first uploaded In the Broad Daylight ). I've been looking around for an artist to pay commission, however I find it sometimes difficult to see who does commissions and who does not.
