It's sequels, even the concept itself, can make no such claim. Lyra is a trite, stupid, one note joke that I am ashamed to have participated in. Any of the themes I wanted to explore could have been done far better without relying on an idiotic internet meme based around one odd animation choice.

Now, as I'm sure many of you are aware, I haven't gotten a heck of a lot done lately. This has mostly been a result of me underestimating my final ornithology exam, and going back home afterwards. I probably won't get much done with week, but you never know. It all depends on whether or not I can get into a rhythm this week. Hopefully I can, but I may turn out some random/silly/insane stories before I can work more on door in the basement and freedom. And I haven't forgotten about huzzah either.

I think I was over-ambitious in my designs. Freedom Will not be updated today. It's gotten too late, and I was too distracted by TV tropes. In my defense, narm in fanfiction is painfully hilarious. While I did manage some writing, it was mostly a little blurb of an idea that flashed to mind, and might find its way into "the Door in the Basement".

Alright, I said I'd have a new chapter of Freedom up, along with Huzzah this weekend, but sadly it was not meant to be. I should still be able to put up chapter 2 of Freedom tomorrow (or technically today my time), but I've run into some plotting issues with Huzzah that are going to delay it rather severely.
