This isn't a simple rewrite; there will be more clarification and more flashbacks and the writing style will be changed to something more personal. I do better writing from a first person perspective.

The Rising Sun has been released and only one chapter remains.

My retrospective? I don't really know. I'm very happy to have completed this chapter in all its emotionally scarring glory... on the other hand, I can't help feeling that I could have done more. Then, when I think about it, I really can't think of anything I could have added, so I'll take whatever I get from this.

I understand that not many people actually care enough to read this but I feel it's necessary.

The next chapter, appropriately titled Fight the Power, is setting up to be the longest one yet. I'm not even halfway done at it's already as long as the longest chapter thus far.
Regardless, it shouldn't take as long as The Final Flame, since I find it easy to write upwards of 500 words a day, or every other day. Something like that.

The Final Flame took way longer than it should have. I'm sorry. Luckily, this means I'm over the hump. Only four chapters left, and this is where it all boils down to a climax... also the end of the story is coming up too. HIYOOOOO!

This next chapter goes hoof in hoof with Flames: Eclipsed by Super Big Mac, which tells the story of Hephaestus Ironwright. I will be working cooperatively with him, moreso than usual, to create this one.

However, since he has such a busy schedule, this one might take a while. I won't give an estimated release date because honestly, I don't know.

It's not apparent now, but near the end of Dragon of the Eclipse, the existence of Alicorns is a critical plot point. Then... there was Cadence. I was conflicted at first as to how to incorporate her into the continuity. I have come to this conclusion: ignore it. Like Marvel Comics, the continuity can go anywhere at any point. I'm not going to use the "Alternate Universe" tag, but take note that Dragon of the Eclipse does not have a Princess Cadence. At least, not this version...

Once again, I'd like to let you all know I'm not dead, and the next chapter, "Solstice's Early Winter" is coming along nicely.

I hit a low spot of non-inspiration but now I'm back on it. Expect this chapter in the following week.

"The Heartbreak Inferno." Boy, this one is a monster. My longest chapter by about a thousand words. Sorry it took so long, a lot happens in this chapter and I wanted to fine tune it to novel quality.

There are about 17.5 thousand words in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I hope to make the whole of Dragon of the Eclipse at least 1.5 times that long. I don't know how many chapters are left, but I'd say we're past the halfway point.
