sorry about that, I decided to delete my comment since it was about something already stated in the story about why twilight would suddenly decide to turn evil. I didn't believe she would trust some pony more than Spike who had been taking care of her. However when she's blinded by revenge, you always hurt the ones you've never meant to. Also can't see how this factors into Winter's plans other than he's going otbackstab twilight in the future if it goes that way.
