Because I like your alternate universe "Equestria Girls" story, it feels like a mirror universe version of canon as you have a lot of people acting the opposite of their canon selves like the Rainbooms /to an extent/, the Dazzlings, Sunset Shimmer and the Crystal Prep students as well as Cinch. I tend to find mirror universes to be interesting as seeing canon characters act the opposite of their main universe selves is an interesting twist to me if done correctly.
