What earned it ti's position, I think, wasjust ow well written it was, and let's be hinest, it broke my heart. But what really got me was the ending. Not even Discord's death, but how afterwards Celestia started coughing up flowers too. I thnk it made it more... whole. It was a wonderful read, that touched my heart. And of course,there were the smaller details, such as howthe fower Discord coughed up was he same kind of flowers he had given her before.
