Dunno, but I'll be training for client systems. Maintinence, networking, effectively an even spread between hardware and software. I kinda planned on a desk jockie assignment from the start. (That, and I'm looking into video game development, hence the software side of the job.) Helps that my overall ASVAB score was a 92, and my full 4 years of JROTC puts my pay grade straight to E-3 from the start.

Edit: ma an' pa are both Army, trig scout and comms respectively. Bro was a medic for the Navy and gramps went Army. Everyone in the fam is an ass, sure, but they're lovable asses.

Airforce, huh? Best branch in my opinion (my dad was a marine but since both his dad and my mom's father were both in the airforce, he lets it slide. That and his grandfather was in the navy and in highschool I was in the NJROTC, so I'm not a complete airforce suck-up). Out of curiosity, where you heading for bootcamp?

Good to hear that your moving into better conditions! I myself am about to go to bootcamp for the Airforce on th 24th. I also know the felling of the 'buzzing mind, but never typing' deal. I've a whole ass world stuck in my head, yet i hardly write anything down. The only difference is that i'm home almost 24/7, meaning i've got a lot of time on my hands.

NOPONY EXPECTES THE CHAOS INQUSITION!

How goes thy endeavors, friend?

That... that is a LONG, depressing story. Short answer is that the mind buzzes but the hands don't type. I'm about to move back to my old home which is nothing but positives (closer to work, so save on gas and more time actually at home, not needing to buy my own groceries, around people I actually like) so I'm praying that gives me the resolve to actually sit down an write and not just lose myself in YouTube and Minecraft.
