Happy 3rd of July! I hope you enjoy tomorrow's festivities.
But in the midst of your celebrations, don't forget what that day represents. In 1776, there were people who stood up for economic freedom, social freedom and religious freedom, and took up arms against a tyrannical monarchy. Because of their bravery, America is one of the freest nations in the world.
So please, enjoy the 4th of July. But don't forget the people that made it possible. 🇺🇲

For The Soldiers

To the brave men and women
Who lay 'neath earth and sod.
Who left their family and kin
And have gone home to God.

Today is Memorial Day. Today, we all should go out of our way to shake a veteran's hand. But even more important than that, we should remember those soldiers who aren't around anymore. They sacrificed themselves so that we may enjoy the freedoms that we do. Remembering them is what today is all about.

First of all, I would like to apologize for not uploading any chapters lately. I am working on it, trust me.
Secondly, the reason I haven't been able to upload much is because I am writing this on my library's computers. There are many reasons as to why I cannot use my home computer, which I will not go into.

It may take longer than I anticipated, (what with the holidays and so forth) so I might have the next chapter up by December. This is also my first crack at something like this, so any constructive criticism is welcome! I'm hoping to finish the story by March of next year.
