I'm sorry I couldn't answer sooner. Had a minor laser eye surgery - nothing serious, but I couldn't read or write anything for a few days because of blurry vision.

I haven't read Murky Number 7 yet, but I can definitely recommend Speak if you liked Project Horizons. It feels like Horizons, with some of the "crazy and over the top" stuff, but toned down in size.

As for the name: I couldn't use simple "Alex" (as short version of Aleksey), so I added some Roman numerals at the end because they look nice. Five and six were already taken, so I had to use VII.

Also, I was a little bit surprised from getting a message from the author, after simply "marking" Dead Tree to "look it up later", but I'm definitely going to read it now because of it :).
