Yep, it is in fact my birthday today. Wonder what I should do?

Probably my laundry, actually.

My Scrapbook · 9:10am Apr 13th, 2013

Not sure if anyone's actually interested in this, but I decided to put a section on my page with fanfics that are not actually ready to be published, and may, in fact, never be. For lack of a better title, I'm calling this section my scrapbook.

Obviously, Raindrops and Roses is in there, as a complete but cancelled oneshot.

Thought I'd post an update on what I'm working on, or not working on, anyways.

Works been a pain recently, so that's cut down on writing a bit, and I've been transitioning between tablets. That cut down on writing time till I picked up a bluetooth keyboard to go with the new tablet. ^_^

So, yeah, it's been going a bit slow recently. It'll get better.

Raindrops on Roses, or "Why I'm careful about how much I revise things" · 6:21am Mar 17th, 2013

While revising things you write is great, there is a point when it goes overboard. I thought it might be generally interesting to discuss one of my experiences with this, and I've been meaning to blog a bit more here.

I'm sure most of you noticed this already, but I posted a fanfic called Just Winging It last night. Here's what happened.

Magical Mystery Cure is tomorrow... · 9:06pm Feb 15th, 2013

In all other respects, it was a normal sunny day. All except for the tacky gold painted bus sitting outside Twilight's library. It seemed to have graffiti all over it; peace symbols, hearts, a walrus, the sun, etc.

Manning a booth in front of it was Scootaloo, with a big cheesy looking mustache adorning her face. In her best carnival barker voice, she began giving instructions to the curious crowd forming.

On the sequel to Making Friends and Titles · 7:06am Jan 26th, 2013

If it seems like I'm posting a lot about this on my blog, it's mainly because it's the main thing I've been working on, writing-wise, lately. And I've even finally finished the rough draft of chapter 4, which was giving me trouble. Of course, the next few chapters will probably be difficult, because they are actually the ones I have the least plotted out.

Since Nopony Really Reads My Blogs Anyways... · 9:12am Jan 10th, 2013

I thought it'd be fun to post a scene from what I'm currently working on, Chapter 4 of the Making Friends Sequel. Yes, still. It's being stubborn.

Keep in mind that this is still rough, and will probably be revised well before it ever gets published, especially since three other chapters would need to be published first:

For anypony curious about such things, my main project at the moment is a sequel to Making Friends. After I wrote it, I found myself thinking a lot about the consequences and problems about a new pony being formed from magic. I also found myself wanting to write cute fluff involving Ditzy, Dinky, Sparkler, Scootaloo, and even Sweetie Belle, on occasion.

And it wasn't any of the ones I said I was working on. Mainly because this was something amusing I cobbled together in a few days, and as an experiment, limited myself to a certain, rather low number of revision passes, and posted without a prereader. Mainly because everything else I've been working on keeps getting drowned by too many revisions and never published. Lack of a prereader is mainly due to... lacking a prereader, though.
