Alright, alright. Cheesy title is cheesy.
Alright, alright. Cheesy title is cheesy.
Similar to NaNoWriMo, NaPoWriMo is a month long event, starting August 1st at 12:01am, in which the goal is to write 50k words. I think I'll be participating unofficially. I don't think I could manage the 100k words my story is calling for at the moment, but I think getting 50k done would be a worthwhile pursuit. I've also kinda started already. There is that.
I've just submitted the first chapter of "Past Imperfect". It's short, but it's motivation for me and it gets some of the story out of the way. I do want to mention that I sacrificed nothing to get this out as early as I did. The first chapter was always going to be this short. It's only 14 in the queue right now, so you might even see it up tonight.
I sent in "A Solemn Summer Night" to an editor for review, which will take a little bit of time. I told them to go hard on it, as I'm determined to submit it to EQD sometime soon.
...they make me feel this happy.
Just submitted my first story to the site for approval. Damn, that feels good.
