I am at an impasse in Chapter 3 of the fic.

I am 2,000 words into it, and I have come to a cross where I wrote a dialogue that I find short and rushed, and I can't think of what to change about it. I want to keep writing ahead, but everytime I start my mind keeps going back to that ONE FREAKING PART. That's where you guys come in.
