It can take anywhere from a couple of hours to a few days. There are only five story approvers, and they get dozens of stories in a day. When you do get the notification from them, but sure to reply with a "Thanks!" okay?

Thank you so much! Uhmm sorry but I have another question I submitted a story 2 days ago and it still is waiting for an approval. Do you know how long those approvals can take before a story will be published?

To find specific users, go up to the top of the screen. Do you see a tab on the dark grey bar that says "Stories?" Click on the little down arrow next to the word "Stories." You'll get a drop-down menu. Choose "Users." Now, go to the blank search field to the left. Put in your friend's name and hit your "Return" or "Enter" key. You'll get a list of all the people on the site with names the same or similar. Just choose your friend! Or, just have them message you the next time you talk with them off-site.
