Hey anyone reading this! Just a little hello from Tokyo. Been successful so far! Even found a black vinyl DJ Pon3 at a Mandarake secondhand store for roughly $15 with a range of Star Wars stuff which would have been amazing if it wasn't expensive. Also found an MLP doujin which was not, despite being in Japan, porn. Weird, eh? It's about Dash buying a clockwork pony and finding her a new eye, I think. I can't read Japanese, after all, but I couldn't detect any tentacles or what you'd expect.

As the title says, I'm off to Japan for a week as part of a university thing. Journalism unit, about media pop culture soft power and media, media tourism and all that sort of thing. Which means I get to spend a week with 10 other people going to all the cool places in Tokyo! Flying out tomorrow at midday, then sitting in Sydney for seven hours waiting for an overnight, ten hour flight to Tokyo.
