No, they aren't, as what's happening in Europe is demonstrating so clearly as well as 1400 hundred years of Islam trying to seize Europa, so please, take your non-evidential PC emotionalism elsewhere. And even if they are, they aren't 'generally good' enough to provide a bulwark against those that actually take their professed religion seriously and only serve as forest for the more dyed in the wool to hide in. As Europe is demonstrating, sometimes you have to burn the whole forest down or at least pluck it all up and send it to more suitable, native climates.

Wrong. So wrong. Communism, like all early 20th Century Marxist ideologies entails the moral nihilism of atheism as one of its core starting points, hence why, Communist countries have such a poor track record of killing and suppressing (making western propoganda look tame and subtle by comparison) all who aren't godless commies whenever they took over. Certainly, its economic aspect where Government owns all the means of production and completely control their economy has little to do with religion just as Capitalism, but unlike Capitalism, Communism is far than just an economic system. Given this, your statement, if taken to mean Communism as a whole, as it seems to suggest, is incorrect. There's a reason commies had to invent liberation theology in attempts to subvert certain segments of the west.
