Today, I tried to make katsudon for the first time. For those who don't know, it's a popular Japanese pork dish. It...turned out about as well as can be expected for an amature chef. The pork was overcooked, the breading didn't stick, and I think even the rice was kind of mushy. Well, practice makes perfect; we'll see what happens after a dozen tries of so.

...when I came across this video of clips from a show that I'm sure left an impact on a lot of us, and I couldn't help but marvel at how the Disney leadership at the time wouldn't allow the writers to show a same sex couple on screen until the very end because they thought it would be inappropriate for the children watching it.

After two ling weeks, my mandatory period of isolation is finally over. I am no longer considered contagious, so I can go out and do stuff again.

Monday I went to my doctor to get tested. I just hear the results today, and I am positive for Covid-19. This year, due to concerns regarding covid-19, I will not be handing out treats to the kids. This decision has taken a lot of the Halloween spirit out of me, to the point where I didn't even bother decorating the house this year. I'll have to make up for it in December. In the meantime, I wish all of you a safe, healthy and happy Halloween.

Today Disney aired the most anticipated episode of the year, "Enchanting Grom Fright". I spent all day waiting, nearly going out of my mind with anticipation, and what did I get for it?

Totally worth every second. Only downside is that the season finale is REALLY going to have to blow the roof off to top this. They may not have any budget left for the rest of the series.

After getting a taste of of it while I was living at my sister's house, I decided to subscribe to Disney+. I was originally going to wait until after I finished a few items in my Netflix watchlist, and now I kind of wish I had. I now have access to so much Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and general Disney programs that I don't know if I'll ever go back to Netflix. It's totally awesome!
