You know, I had plans for Sunset in the original draft of Fall of Starfleet. Yeah, she was going to pop up in the Equestria world and become her guard captain and bodyguard. But, the problem became that 1) it was getting too many characters, 2) the story didn't really work with her, and 3) she had little screentime. I felt like if I wanted to do her story, that i should give her something grand to do.

Do Rhinos count has hooved beasts in FIM an thus are sentient? I mean, traditionally, we use hoofed animals as sentieant creatures in our fics (boars and the like.) but there are exceptions, for example cows are sentiant and work for ponies in a lavor sort of situation. We are unsure of the rights but we know that they are probably oing well. We have also seen sentiant sheep, but other media forgets that.
