It's a common theme in fanfiction that Celestia a pro-noble ruler that bow to whims of said nobles (all four of them?) while Luna some sorta champion of common folks who protect their rights from evil nobles. How exactly people come to this insane conclusions? Only one question - where the hell people find this nobility in canon? Actual show, excluding Princesses, have, If I remember correctly, exactly four ponies who hold noble titles - Blueblood, Shining Armor and duke and duchess of Maretonia. That all.
