It was a nice thing to read. Just the two of them having a friend-to-friend sort of moment like this(even if it took a while to get to that point), compared to a lot of other stories being chock-full of romance or just outright goofy(not that either of those are a bad thing ). Aside from the initial bit of confusion with Fluttershy's dialogue I do like the way it was written. And the way Discord was able to show his emotions, personally I found it pretty believable, given the situation he was in. I enjoy seeing shorter stories like this every now and then, they can be just as emotional as the ones with dozens of chapters, so nice work.
