I think it's pretty safe to assume that I'm not the only one that likes epic works of fiction. Especially pony-related epics, now more than ever!

I like to try and write larger than life, over the top epics. They tend to be my more favorite kinds of things to read and also to see in movies and video games. However, just because I want something to be epic doesn't mean that you can sacrifice character development. It's all about those characters!

Maybe I should switch the order around a bit on that. I love about good characters and I strive to accomplish that. I go for that and strive to do it in an epic fashion. So if you can imagine for a moment a world-shattering battle between the protagonist and the world's enemy, but it is so full of meaning because the main character(s) learned so much and went through hell to be where they are. Those are the stories I strive to write.
