Tolkein and his works have been an influence over my writing across many fandoms, and while I have not produced a pure crossover between Tolkein's mythology and MLP people have commented on how they enjoy seeing glimpses of a much older and much larger world in my fanon and behind my works... something that Tolkein's world-building did and has kept me enthralled for decades.
