Big Issues In The Set-Up
How are you doing, Fimfic Readers? The last couple weeks have been tougher on me than usual, and now, unfortunately, I have hit a brick wall: writer's block, the result of which is that my released chapters have nearly caught up with my drafted chapters. I'm also at one of those humps where I know what I want to happen after, but not exactly what I want to happen now. But the best way to cure it is to write. Urgh, so frustrating! I also feel as though my writing may be losing some
I finally got around to assembling the final pieces for my custom job on the HGBF Super Fumina, which I call the Star Wish. For this custom the kits I used are:
1. HGBF Super Fumina: the base unit.
2. HGBC Powered Arms Powereder: functional arm vulcans.
3. HGBC Kurenai Weapons: beam rifle and long blade.
Lets get this off first thing: this is not a straight-build. This is also only the first portion of my plan for the Super Fumina. Fortunately, I need only wait for the third kit, which comprises the parts for Phase 2, to arrive.
Oh, and spoilers, for both the movie and the EU books.
Let me be clear: this is two kits, not one. The only way to get these two together is with the Trans-Am kit, which is either overly-expensive or sold-out. To do these two justice, I believe they must be reviewed together, since that is when they are truly complete. Annoyingly enough, I'm not even being symbolic here.
Yeah, I've been sitting on this for awhile. It takes time to figure things out, so let me share my wisdom with you here.
To a certain degree, I understand that writers and directors must cut certain things away when they adapt written works for the big screen. This is because there are certain restrictions inherent in the nature of the medium, such as time and what one can practically portray, especially as concerns live action.
But deciding to cut away or alter something that is intrinsic to the story or its characters is not a decision that I can understand.
