After much debate, my muse and I have decided to drop the Comedy tag for PSDAL and LRSF.

This was a hard decision, as humor is an important and integral part of the world I'm building.

However, the tag just doesn't fit any more, especially where PSDAL is concerned.

The flavor of humor in these stories is more along the line of Slice of Life; I can't include that tag because of site rules, as these are still adventure stories.

I've been a fan of this site for almost a year now (I actually started reading stories on it before becoming a member) and I have found that this particular trope is one of the most popular.

I've thought that the basis of Cutie Marks was as much what the pony wanted as their special talent as whatever their special talent was.

As evidenced by the CMC getting a Cutie Mark Shield as their Cutie Marks. Their special talent is seeing other ponies for who they are, and helping them find themselves.

I figured that would be worked into their talents at some point. Ah well, it makes no difference to my AU, as I'm pretty much ignoring all of season five.

Yes, it's short.

Sue me.

This last chapter is as short as it is because it's a bridge between chapters. It also helps to show that, even in the midst of their own demonically fueled problems, Celestia and Luna still wanted the best for their ponies.

In addition, this one was a bit of clean-up; everything that will be happening from now on will be from outside of Equestria; the big bad simply has nopony left on his side now that Lady Lemyre is gone.

I know it's been awhile since I wrote any chapters for the tagged story. Much of that is because I've lately been focusing on LRSF the last week or so. And the block of chapters I recently put up for that one is the single largest block I've written in a short period of time.

The thing is, I've been curious as to why LRSF has gotten more votes in total than PSDAL. I'd chalk it up because there's more cute Twidash, but I think there's more.

I know that there are probably a lot of you out there that think a world doesn't need a system of beliefs.

And you'd be right; it's not completely necessary to have a church or any such thing.

The reason I have one is that even though a civilization doesn't need an organized religion to survive, most have one anyway. They form as a result of the people's desire to explain their world.

Another new chapter for LRSF. This one's pretty short; something that you should likely expect for the next couple of chapters.

I've been a reader for the majority of my life. Ever since I was six years old, when my mother got me a copy of The Land of Oz and The Lame Prince, I've enjoyed many fine stories.

I've explored with heroes, and died along side them. I've witnessed epic wars on distant worlds, and cheered when a great villain was brought down.
