Firstly, I don't just proof-read, I spell check, edit, give suggestions even write in my own version of events. You would be mistaken if I just go "Yeah, that's good."

Secondly, this is May. Over here, it is a prime time for examinations and deadlines. Being a final year university student, this takes priority.

Proof-reading a Chapter 15,000+ words takes around 3-4 hours at the very least and it's still time I'm having trouble to spare right now.

If you want to know why there is a delay, it would have been better to ask, or even ask the author of the said story, rather stamp your foot.

You'e been proofreading the same chapter for a week now.
