1604830 That is all very true and I agree with it. But because it is technically a kids show I don't think we will be seeing any type of this information later on unless it is announced to the community directly. But again I loved the story and keep writing :)

True, she may or may not be inclined to them being straight... although while watching through some of the show to develop more character backgrounds I did come across something else. It is provided in this song as to what Granny Smith sings. As well as the whole family's assorted values in life. They would clearly stand together, even if it went against the social norms... so long as it was not evidently evil. Although that is a completely different issue of it's self. I suppose we could just settle on that Evil is decided by the victor(s) in conflict.

Jumping back on topic a bit though. Granny Smith shows, so far, no inclination that she would be discouraged by anyone's sexuality or standing unless it was harming another pony. We get to glimpse this in the few episodes that she has lines and a role in. A true love for her family almost regardless... maybe even reckless...

Although I definitely appreciate the thoughts and concern... although the issue in this is whether or not the rest of the Apple's Family would follow suit. As we do not hear from the other members point of view. At the very least not yet in any of the show. So, could Braeburn be an individual who might shun them for their attraction, possibly... As I've not looked into the rest of it... if we were to take the song of their values as the whole Apple's family view... then none of them would be upset at her choice.

Personally though... here are the ponies I feel are more straight in the show; Applejack, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash.

Twilight may not even be truly interested in a sexual relationship to begin with. So that leads me to believe she is either Asexual or straight... or just horrible at projecting her feelings outward like Fluttershy in some instances.

Fluttershy may be homosexual or Bisexual... I am not entirely sure at this point.

Pinkie Pie... uhm... likes every pony... Need I say more? Bisexual is my mind set.

Note some of these are possibly biased as to what I would want them to be as well. *shrugs*

Again it is all speculation from the viewer I do suppose!

Although that is some wonderful food for thought to bring up, I understand many old-style families may be upset with new-style lives. Acceptance and that sort of thing... always get that stubborn individual out there. Sadly, in that telling it was not meant to be that way.
