While walking, an idea slammed me for what will probably be chapter 4. Which, of course, has delayed my progress slightly on 2 while I mapped it out. I'm pretty sure it'll be worth it, though. ;)

Here's my first go with hand-drawn using a tablet. And (of course) it's Adagio—looking happy and content. I figure she'd spend quite a number of mornings like this after the conclusion of 'Door. =)

I've discovered that writing, like artwork, is a pursuit that benefits greatly from experience. And I feel I've learned quite a lot with each new story while working through the process of writing and taking in the comments and feedback that have come with each.

Rari's even got her little scarf. She's not from the con though; had her for about two years now. And then a little bonus Sunny.

So I managed to find the one singular piece of Adagio merch at the con here, it seems. Thankfully fits in the badge, though. (Right next to Sunset as appropriate. ;)

Rarity button and Sunset human were my own from home. Unicorn OC pin was from a thank-you-fund donation. Then the pony Sunny pin was a couple bucks. :)

Still though... Kinda sad about the lack of EQG merch, but not entirety surprised.

Ten-hour drive, though. Should be around late afternoon on Friday and then for the rest of the event. The drive itself is up from Nor-cal through Oregon and Washington. So given the scenery along I-5, I'm looking forward to that almost as much as the event itself. (Quiet time away from the kids, with just the trees and my tunes. ;)

In celebration of posting Act III of the new story today (chapters 4 and 5), I opted for a travel-buddy on my work commute. Found her at a local Walmart on a hunch to check the "pink aisle" while picking up some pool supplies earlier this week. ;)

Can't wait to drop these final two chapters in just a bit here.

The first two chapters of my third story should be going up tomorrow, if all goes well. This will be a sequel to Messenger, as the events follow a few weeks after. It's time to put Sunset and Adagio through a few more paces.
