School is taking up a lot of my time. It is not the only thing doing so. I've gotta be honest with myself, and put my stories on hiatus for a while. Who knows, I might write a little for spring break, or maybe not 'til summer. I don't know yet. Please note that I have taken the time to actually switch them to "On Hiatus", so you can be sure that I will be back.

New chapter is up! And just in time; classes start tomorrow morning. It remains to be seen just how much time I will have with schoolwork to do.

So, it's less than a month until the craziness and epicness that is NaNoWriMo. I'm really pumped for this year, as I only found out about the event on November 1st of last year, far too late to start preparing. I've got a novel idea in my head, and it's been there for close to two years now. I'm really excited to get it written down. As I will be trying to write 50,000 words in a mere month, I will not have time to work on anything I'm doing here.

I haven't even been on the site in well over a week. And I couldn't have cared less. I've found myself failing miserably on both the financial and educational fronts, and I also had to deal with the loss of a close friend (my dog, who was by my side for twelve years. Gonna miss ya, little buddy.) just last week.

So, yeah, I had little time or interest for writing. I guess it's time to get back on the proverbial horse now.

I'm on vacation right now, and I just got access to the internet yesterday night (it was supposed to be a lot sooner; it worked last year!). So, I didn't get everything done that I wanted. I'll scrape out a few hundred words in the next couple of days, but nowhere near what I had hoped for this week. Damn. So, yeah, if anyone was wondering, that's why I was absent for so uncharacteristically long.

Aw crap, it's been over a month already! I haven't written a word of Finding Space, and a scant few paragraphs of Getting Their Just Desert! I really dropped the ball these past few weeks. So sorry.

Well, it's hiatus time again, so I guess I better get going with the writing. It's not like Hasbro's making any Pony stories, right?

Oh yeah, Rainbow Rocks. (shrugs) Okay, whatever, I'll get writing anyway.

A few people have already seen, but I finally got the newest chapter of Finding Space up!

It fell short of every wordcount expectation I had! Yay!

Yeah, I kept writing scenes, then deleting them, replacing them, deleting those, deciding on a new structure for the chapter, and I ended up with this pygmy of a chapter. But Hey, at least there are no lines that make me wince when I go back and read it, so I guess I'm improving!
