With her training as a Bleeding Moon completed, Order master Ink Flash is sent to Canterlot on what seems to be a simple courier mission despite her objections. But little does she know that her former master is waiting in the shadows to help if something goes awry.

And she should be glad he is.

Taking a contract for the first time in awhile, Silent Shadow investigates the supposed haunting of a mansion that once belonged to a real estate tycoon. But what should have been a normal "exorcism" goes awry when the specter pulls him into the depths of his own memories- forcing him to wake up in the time when the Bleeding Moons were at their most powerful. Slowly, he forgets about the present as he gets absorbed into the world of his own memories. But all is not what it seems.

Silent must find a link back to reality or be forever lost in the dream-like memories of his bloody assassin past.

After a trip to the desecrated Bleeding Moons fortress, and subsequently a Venom Stars fortress, leaves Silent Shadow injured beyond the scope of magic or medicine, the task falls in Ink Flash's hooves to retrieve a legendary flower that could return her assassin master to her. But it's not just about her training and his livelihood- Silent's life is on the line and Ink has a time limit! With Digger by her side, the apprentice rushes off to Athens to retrieve the only hope to save her master and somehow manage to get back in time before it's too late.

Her training as a Bleeding Moon finished and long days of being an assassin before her, Ink Flash takes on her first major mission in Canterlot. With a slight doubt nagging her the entire way, she finds herself facing her past as she helps to dissolve a plot against her for the sins of another.

With the Canterlot brotherhood of the Assassin Order at her side, Ink Flash must hurry to free the capital city before all of Equestria suffers for a family grudge.
