What I'm about to go through is nothing out of the ordinary for most of you, but is absolutely terrifying for me. By the time people are my age, they've generally undergone some type of surgery at least once. Me, though? Nope. The closest I've had is a procedure on my big toes to remove in-grown nails, which doesn't really count.
