Sorry I haven't updated or said anything at all for awhile. Just wanted to let you know that I haven't given up on Eternity. The next chapter might be a little delayed, because I have another project I'm working on at the moment, but it's still coming.

So don't worry.

In case you're wondering why all of the chapters appear to have been released on January 18th, I had to go back and make some edits. Specifically, my proofreader informed me while reading chapter 4 that horses do not have fur. They have hair.

Well, I feel silly, obviously, but I felt even more silly when I realized that I'd used the word at least once in every chapter so far.

So there you go. Changes made, characters no longer have fur. Done deal.

I had a bit of difficulty starting the 2nd chapter, but it was a piece of cake once I got past the beginning.

On that note, it shouldn't be too much longer before you get the next chapter. I've got a pretty good idea where I'm going to go with it. I mean, I know where I'm going with the whole story, but some of the individual parts give me trouble once in awhile.

Ideally, the next chapter will be slightly longer as well. 3,500 words, maybe? We'll see.

Anyway, enjoy chapter 2!

To anyone who's following this story, I actually am making progress (I know. I'm surprised, too.) with chapter 1, and it should be done within the next week and a half.

So just to let you know, it isn't dead.

I have officially posted the prologue to "The Elements of Eternity". I never thought I'd get as far as doing so, but it appears I have, and there's no backing down now. Maybe if someone reads it and enjoys it, they'll be willing to bug me about doing another chapter. I want to write, but I have about as much motivation as... Well, something with very little motivation.
