After a small discussion between me and Wing Dancer, we decided that it would be a fun exercise to write one chapter of each other's stories. I wrote a chapter for
Tell me, what do you live for? Is it for work? For study? Or is it for the important things? Pleasure, art, friends, family, love? Do you live to work? Or do you work to live?

A new chapter is out for Little Butterfly. So go check it out!
It has been quite the experience here on Fimfiction, getting to read, write, and review. I've learned quite a bit, and have gotten the chance to help out with a few stories (some of which I absolutely love).
Huzzah!
At least in total story views, that is. It's more than I expected to get, but thanks to you guys, I feel accomplished.
Next goal is 1000. Then 10,000. Then... well ten thousand is quite a bit, I'd satisfied with that.
Stories tend to get more favorites than likes (The Unfaithful Student is an example of this). But why aren't the number of favorites displayed just as easily? Do they count towards the popularity of the fic? If so, to what degree? If not, why not?
Anywho, loves are loves.
Sometimes I have spurts of creativity of the strangest kind. Sometimes I have good spurts. This is a good spurt, as it has excreted two demonstrations of literary eloquency.
First a short story about a fish that washed up on the beach...
In light of recent events, I now have three full fledged stories in my head (and I think some of them will never be finished, for "life-stuff" reasons). But I think there is one that I'll focus on more for now.
Because the CMC's trebuchet adventure has reached nigh unto 250 views, I have decided that I will take that story, and expand it into a fantastical adventure about the invasion of changelings into Ponyville, and the truly deceptive and disruptive method that they intend to do so.
Lemme put this straight. I love writing. Almost as much as I love writing, I love reading. But sadly, I cannot claim that I am good at either of those. So instead of going on about how terrible I am at expressing myself without horrific errors being strewn throughout like a trail of corpses, I'm going to accept my "style", as it is called by some, and adopt it into my writing.
On my user page is a piece of work that I have dubbed 'The Art of Writ' (a small pun based on Sun Tzu's 'The Art of War').
It outlines the basic things that any writer should know and apply in order to ensure that their writing achieves great things.
It is mostly advice to myself, as a reminder of those things I often forget to do. But I hope it can serve for some of you as well.

So, I will be posting the chapters of my story on Fluttershy. But instead of only focusing on that one all at once, I'm going to post other short one-off stories in between chapters.
Why am I doing this?
First, I want to keep the creativity flowing. If I focus a whole lot on one thing, then it becomes monotonous and very hard to get through, but if I do it in spurts, interrupted by dynamic writing, then that "plow through it" feeling goes almost completely away.
