For Now · 5:00pm Jul 20th, 2018

So uh...most people on this page will agree that I'm not the best ever. At one point, my page was the peak of existence! I could post things every day and people were involved and we would get hundreds of views and back then everything was happy and fun and playful. Then, at some point in it all, I dropped off. One post per year from me and that was it. It was something to look forward to, maybe, but in a lot of ways, it was just a way for me to keep a page going where other people thought it

Why Would You Do This To Us Wizard? · 1:24am Jan 19th, 2016

Okay, yeah, I've been gone for... a long time. Quite a while, actually. No, it's not because I'm planning on cancelling all of my stories. I'm not in some dementia state inside of a mental hospital. I haven't overloaded on cupcakes and gone into a two-year sugar coma. A lot of my absence can be traced to two things: School and lack of inspiration.

I wonder if the admins ever think "Damn, this guy AGAIN" every time I post a story. I do it so frequently I wouldn't be surprised!

Hey all! I'm BAAAAACCCKKKKK!!!!!!!! After a long, waited-out hiatus, Derpy Hooves is back with more ideas to write than ever, starting today! A new chapter for "I'll Be One Beat Away" will be worked on today, followed be "1,000 Years Missing" and "Is The Moon Made of Cheese?" I hope you all are excited! I can't wait to start writing for all of you amazing people once more :)

So Busy You're Disappointing · 6:26am Feb 18th, 2015

Does anypony ever write a chapter or a few of a story that everypony instantly takes to? I bet a lot of you can say yes, because stories on here are judged fairly to their quality, and most are very well-written. But has anypony ever had that situation, but had a large gap between chapters due to an overflow of work?

Taking Away · 7:23am Jan 6th, 2015

Alright, so this will be a short little thing to get you updated on everything that's going to happen.

First things first, I've taken the time to think everything over, and I've decided to eliminate "Faded Memories," only because I was working myself too hard trying to mix everything with school. So this means that "I'll Be One Beat Away" and "Alien: Ponies of a Forgotten Past" are going to be the ones regularly updated, with a few one-shots casually put in.

Inspiration From You All · 3:36am Jan 6th, 2015

Wow. I don't even know what to say coming in here typing this. I just saw a notification telling me that I received another favorite on my Vinyl Scratch story "I'll Be One Beat Away."

And what do I see? It has just hit its 99th bookshelf.

Because it came first... · 7:40am Jan 4th, 2015

One of the most largely debated topics in MLP fanfic history: That story is popular compared to ours because it came first!

Before I go into any depth on this, I agree with this statement. I wholeheartedly agree that a fanfic is only popular because it came first, and at the right time.

We have all of the classics: Fo:E, MLD, Cupcakes, and all of those. These have been written, but why do we get the hate for writing similar stories?

Yes, we have all thought that our stories mean nothing. Our stories are but flies, buzzing around our heads until we decide to squash them. Why, then, do we quit those stories, never to return again? Why do we put them away, leaving society to read our unfinished works? Do we still crave attention? Do we still want those stories to be popular even though we know we now have other stories that are much more well-written?

Yes, that is exactly what we do.
