I have this idea as a plot for a short story for my start up. I've watched Nat Geo's "Evacuate Earth" which showed about humanity building an interstellar ark in a race to save what they can against an incoming neutron star.

I'm planning to have Princess Twilight building a thaumic telescope in which she used to view events before the discovery of the neutron star and towards the final days of Earth. I need help with this.
