No, I just was distracted. I came up with it on the same day you responded to me, but I started playing some TF2.

1560881 Emotion in text is hard to convey, so I'll say now I'm confused rather than pretentious when I say:

It took you a week to come up with that?

I'm sorry, but I will not change my opinion about mankind. We are all entitled to our own opinions; we can debate them, but it doesn't mean we'll change each other's minds.
You also seem a bit irked. Sorry for making you feel that way. But like I said, I'm entitled to my own opinion.

but technology can adapt to everything.

Citation needed. Saying 'Technology has adapted to every problem so far and therefor can adapt to anything' is like saying 'I've been able to easily get straight A-s in every one of my classes, therefor there exists nothing I can not get 100% on', or 'My immune system has kept any disease from killing me thus far, therefor there is no disease that could kill me'.

A laser is immensely powerful; it could burn a hole clean through a planet long before magic does.

Bullshit. The source of the energy (Laser vs magic) doesn't matter a shit, as long as the energy gets there. For instance, the laser pointer you can get for a $1 would NEVER be able to burn through the planet before Full-Powered Tirek's lasers. On the other end of the spectrum, a Neutron-Star Level laser, compared to unicorn-Twilight, could far outpace her. The source doesn't matter, the energy's all that does.

'Mechs would prove a significant ground advantage; their 20-ton+ armor would block nearly anything. And don't get me started on their huge arsenal of weapons.

Now you're getting into the extreme hypothetical. Why stop there? Why not just say 'Hey, give a few centuries and humanity could build a Death Star! The ponies have no defense against THAT!'. No shit, neither do we.

Magic usually has a long travel time, so jets could easily dodge magical attacks;

Are you looking at the same magical attacks I am? The ones that can teleport faster than light (In a sense) or grip something with zero travel time in telekinesis?

Also, most of the chemical elements on Earth do not even seem to exist in Equestria, so maybe there's a different material that can block magic.

Where the hell do you even get this?

Sorry, what is the name of the planet Equestria exists on?

There's no official name. A popular fanon name is Equus, however since there are bound to be other species, my personal headcanon extends it to Equus being the name in Equestrian, and other species call it other things.

And I said what I said because by the looks of it, none of the planet seems as densely populated as Earth does.

A lot of their cities and houses are also smaller on the outside, so what?
