(Partially because I wanted to meet as many writers as possible, and partially because he was clearly very tired given the long trip with him arriving so late at night; but most importantly because I knew that I would get my chance with him later after all I shared a room with him).

And lastly, do you mean that the badge said Phoenix Quill, or had an image of a Phoenix on it.
