I'm a fan of clop and clop related accessories. My favorite pony on the show is Luna and pretty much all of the mane six. Not really a fan of Applejack though, but I don't hate her or anything.

She just annoys me.

I'm also a fan of Trixie and can do a pretty good impersonation. I plan on eventually writing a Luna clopfic. Yeah, I know, there are probably tens of thousands of them. But you know what? I don't care, because there can never be enough Luna clopfics.

Have a sexy Luna pic.

1104293 Well, you're one of the lucky ones then. As far as I know, I'm the only one in my family that enjoys metal. My journey is strange one, but not uncommon.

All throughout elementary school, I had no inclination toward any type of music. I didn't care. It wasn't until 7th grade that I actually started to pay attention. I found that whatever was popular amongst those around me, I didn't like very much. Now, while I was in middle school, I really got into anime and manga. This led to the browsing of youtube, which led to AMVs which led to a Naruto one with In the End by Linkin Park. I found the song fitting and intriguing and proceeded to seek out more of their stuff. At the time, their newest album was Minutes to Midnight (and that's their last good one, imo), and I enjoyed everything they had. It led to other artist recommendations in a more alternative genre such as Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin.

So far, nothing too heavy, just Linkin Park's first album being the heaviest thing I knew. At the time, I had come across metal, and I hated it. I don't know why; maybe it was the band? However, around the same time I encountered my still favorite band to this day, Disturbed. I love everything they have and continued with that for the next 2 or 3 years.

So, it's now my sophomore year of highschool. Games like Guitar Hero and Rockband are as popular as they can be. I wonder if any songs by Disturbed are on there. I go to youtube and find a full band playthrough of Perfect Insanity and see in the related videos a thumbnail of a long drum roll with the notes super close together. I don't even look at the title, I just want to know what song has drums like that.

I watch the vid, half paying attention to the music, mesmerised by the complexity of the drum chart and how the guy playing makes it look easy. Near the end, my ear finally picks up on the vocals, and I realize it was metal I was just listening to, something I previously had no interest in. I look at the title of the vid, search for the song and listen to it, and lo and behold, I enjoyed it. So I listened to the full album and liked that too. Thus, All That Remains became the first band classified as "metal" that I enjoyed.

From there it was a matter of exploration and expanding my horizons. So the reason I'm not really into a lot of the older bands is because I had no one to introduce them to me. I started off with newer stuff and came from an Alt Rock background. But nowadays I'm fine with listening to any of the oldies.
